Coats for Kids Community Fair – TCMA has partnered with the junior league for this event, providing bike helmets and instructions for fitting/using helmets to all children receiving coats.
Back to School Fair at the Volunteer Healthcare Clinic – TCMA provides backpacks with school supplies to all children coming in for physicals and immunizations.This is the 5th year Travis has partnered with the VHC for this event.
TCMA also stages 2-4 apartments and cooks 4-6 meals for the St. Louise House. The St. Louise House provides transitional housing to empower women and children to overcome homelessness.
TCMA has an annual fund drive within our organization. All members are asked to donate and support the philanthropic initiatives of the TCMA in our community.
TCMA also has a community-wide sponsorship drive where we ask hospitals, doctors offices, and other businesses to support our initiatives. TCMA chooses recipients each year to provide grants to. 2019 grant recipients are Aloe Foundation, Austin Center for Grief and Loss, Partnerships for Children, People’s Community Clinic, St. Louise House, TCMS Physician Wellness Program, and Volunteer Healthcare Clinic.

TCMA participates in all
First Tuesdays at the Capitol. A group of TCMA members meet and go to the capitol to lobby for TEXPAC-endorsed movements. TCMA also hosts a
legislative reception for local politicians prior to the session beginning. This year's reception was held on January 16, 2019. Contact
