It only takes one ALLMED experience to get hooked! The TMA Alliance invites you to join your friends from around the state at the annual conference May 8-10 in San Antonio. ALLMED is one terrific occasion to find out more about TMAA, reacquaint yourself with the organization, hear ideas to take back to your local alliance, and renew friendships and make new ones. In addition, you’ll have opportunities to network, hear dynamic speakers, take part in the Annual Business Meeting, applaud outstanding achievements at the Celebration Luncheon, and have fun.

Registration is $120. This fee helps offset some of the costs of the Celebration Luncheon, Poster Session Reception, speakers, and other items that enhance the conference.

Parking: The negotiated parking rate at the JW Marriott is $20 per day. If you’re coming to ALLMED for the day, be sure to get your parking ticket validated at TMA registration to ensure this rate.

Frank Rosinia, MD

A leader who knows how to listen and coach his or her team makes the most effective leader. Executive coach Frank Rosinia, MD, will provide current leadership research and practical tools for listening, a skill gaining attention in professional development programs at elite institutions. Dr. Rosinia will explore soft skills for leaders that build a culture of trust and guide participants through an exercise to apply listening skills in their personal and professional lives.

Dr. Rosinia is a certified executive coach, who brings decades of experience as a physician, senior health care executive, and academic leader to his clients. Currently, he is a professor at the University of Texas San Antonio Alvarez College of Business in the Department of Management, integrating real-world insights into leadership education. His coaching work focuses on developing leaders in health care, education, and beyond, with expertise in executive presence, emotional intelligence, and personal wellness.

Nora Vasquez, MD

Her interactive session, including real-world applications, will help leaders elevate their impact.

*TexMed registration is required if you plan to attend any TMA events, such as the House of Delegates or the Expo Hall. TexMed registration is free for TMAA members whose spouse is a TMA member. For TMAA members whose spouse is not a TMA member, the guest rate is $175.  

Prepare for ALLMED 

  1. Register for ALLMED until April 25. Gather a group of friends from your alliance so you’ll fill your voting block at the Annual Business Meeting (ABM). Each alliance receives 10 votes. And this year’s vote will include updated bylaws for TMAA. 
  2. Review updated TMA Alliance Bylaws. TMAA voting members will vote to adopt the proposed bylaws during the ABM.
  3. Create your poster to brag about one of your local successes. Posters which will be on display during the Thursday evening reception. Be sure to email TMAA the name of your featured project and local contact by April 15 for inclusion in the program. This will ensure alliance members know who to contact for information. 
  4. Submit names of deceased alliance members from the past year by April 15 for recognition at the ABM.
