TMAA Events

ALLMED

ALLMED is the TMA Alliance’s annual conference open to all TMAA members. The event includes TMAA’s annual business meeting, expert speakers and educational sessions on topics of interest to alliance members, the annual celebration luncheon, and opportunities to connect with alliance colleagues from around the state. The conference is held in conjunction with TexMed, TMA’s annual conference. Plan to be in San Antonio for ALLMED 2025.

Blue Ribbon Awards
Each year, local alliance chapters are honored at the annual celebration luncheon during ALLMED. The 2025 awards will recognize outstanding local efforts in membership, advocacy, and community outreach (criteria coming soon). TMAA will recognize local chapters that reach the bronze, silver, and gold levels of achievement. The alliance with the greatest achievement, i.e., the most points, in an award's categories will receive that particular award. The membership, advocacy, and community outreach awards come with a $500 prize.

Regional Conference
The TMA Alliance Regional Conference offers members leadership training opportunities and roundtable sessions related to growing and engaging local alliance chapters. This conference rotates around the state among local chapter locations.

County Leader Listening Sessions
Local alliance leaders gather monthly via Zoom to share their challenges and successes and to learn about resources available from TMAA to enhance work going on locally. The county leadership listening sessions were launched in 2020 to allow local alliance leaders to meet and learn from one another. The meeting occurs the third Tuesday of each month at noon.

Doctor’s Day
Local alliance chapters honor community physicians each year on March 30, National Doctors’ Day. This annual observance recognizes the contributions and service of physicians to their patients, community, and society. Local recognitions range from social media campaigns to billboards and yard signs to parties honoring physicians or fundraisers for local programs in honor of physicians.
