TMA Alliance Blue Ribbon Awards

Each year, local alliance chapters are honored at the annual celebration luncheon during ALLMED. The 2027 awards, based on award submissions by local alliances, will recognize outstanding local efforts in membership, legislative advocacy, and community outreach. The alliance with the greatest achievement, i.e., the most points, in an award's categories will receive that particular award. The awards come with a $500 prize.

Blue Ribbon Awards Criteria

The Blue Ribbon Awards Committee expanded the criteria for the 2027 awards. Be sure to review the criteria so you track your alliance’s work in each area.

In addition to the three monied awards, alliances that achieve medal status – bronze, silver, and gold rankings – in these categories will be recognized at 2027 ALLMED:

• Membership renewal rate
• TEXPAC membership
• First Tuesdays at the Capitol attendance (add-on during a legislative year)
• Outreach events hosted (TMA and local programs combined)
